On January 28, the Henan Provincial Finals of the 3rd National College Students' Career Planning Competition came to an end. Students from our university performed outstandingly, winning 1 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze medals. All 10 participating contestants won awards, with a 100% award-winning rate. Meanwhile, the university was awarded the Excellent Organization Award, and three teachers—Wang Kaikai, Hao Yifei and Cui Yan—won the Excellent Instructor Award.
With the theme of "Building Dreams for Youth, Aspiring to Go Everywhere; Planning to Set Sail, Guiding the Future Career", this competition is an important platform to test college students' career planning ability and assist colleges and universities in employment education. As one of the host institutions, Xinxiang University took this competition as an important starting point to deepen the employment education system and improve the quality of talent training, and built a comprehensive support system for preparing for the competition. President Li Guanghui presided over the competition coordination meeting to make overall arrangements. All functional departments carried out precise docking and efficient services, following up the whole process from competition organization, resource allocation to logistics support. All colleges actively responded and gave strong support, forming a preparation pattern of "full participation of the whole university, selection at all levels and key cultivation".
This outstanding achievement is the result of Xinxiang University's deepening of career development education and promotion of the in-depth integration of employment education with professional education and practical education.
