December 21st,2024,Xinxianguniversity held a feedback meetingforteachersprogram accreditationonMathematics and Applied Mathematics, English, and Physical Education.
The meeting was attended by Zhuang Huiming, the leader of the joint accreditation expert group and formerVicePresident of East China Normal University; Zhu Dongjin, the leader of the Mathematics and Applied Mathematics accreditation expert group and formerDean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at Anhui Normal University; Wang Yan, the leader of the English accreditation expert group andDean of the School of Foreign Languages at Shenyang University; Luo Lin, the leader of the Physical Education accreditation expert group andDean of the School of Physical Education at Jiangxi Normal University; as well as other expert group members, Zhang Xinmin,DeputyDirector of Henan Provincial Education Evaluation Center, Sun Gongqi,Secretary of the Party Committee of Xinxiang University, Wang Xiaojun,President,and all the leadership of the school.
Zhuang Huiming introduced the expert group's review of teaching materials, classroom observations, and inspections of off-campus internship bases. Zhu Dongjin, Wang Yan, and Luo Lin provided feedback on the inspection results and existingproblemsfor the Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, English, and Physical Education programs, respectively.
Sun Gongqi expressed his highest respect and sincere gratitude to the experts and leaders who have meticulously guided the development of teacher programs at Xinxiang University. He stated that the expert group's feedback pointed out the direction and practical path for the development of teacher programs at Xinxiang University. He emphasized that the university will take this accreditation as an opportunity to unify thoughts, build consensus, shoulder responsibilities, continuously rectify issues, and further consolidate and expand the achievements of program accreditation.
Zhang Xinmin pointed out that teacherprogramaccreditation has significant guiding implications for the construction of professional connotation and improvement of the quality of teachercultivation. He hopes that the university will carefully compare itself against the accreditation standards, ensuring that reverse design is reasonable, forward implementation is effective, outcome orientation is achieved, and improvement is evaluated.
