On the afternoon of January 20,2025，Zhu Zifeng, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education, came to the university to conduct research and provide guidance. Song Zhen, aSecond-levelInspector of the Provincial Department of Education and Director of the Development and Planning Division, Wang Xiaojun,President of our university, Song Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhang Yintang,VicePresident, as well as the heads of the University Office, the Academic Affairs Office, and the Graduate School accompanied the inspection.
Zhu Zifeng and his entourage visited theSchool of3D Printing and the 3D Printing Industrial Park successively. They listened carefully to the reports from the staff, had cordial exchanges with them, and learned in detail about the scientific research achievements, talent-cultivation models of theSchool of3D Printing, and its practical exploration in serving the local area.
Zhu Zifeng fully affirmed the achievements made by the university in its development in recent years. He pointed out that as a local applied undergraduate institution, Xinxiang University must accurately define its own position and deeply optimize its talent-cultivation model. In terms of professional construction, it should be bold in innovation, create distinct characteristics, and closely align with the actual needs and trends of local industrial development. Through a series of practical measures, the university should continuously enhance its ability to serve society and inject strong impetus into local economic and social development.
