On the morning of December 12th, our university held the opening ceremony for the 2025 cohort of international students. President Li Guanghui attended the ceremony.
Li Guanghui extended a welcome to the international students. Drawing on his own experience of studying abroad, he encouraged everyone to cherish this academic journey and put forward three expectations: first, embrace differences and build bridges of cultural understanding through multicultural exchanges; second, hold fast to their passions, overcome language and environmental challenges, and achieve growth through exploration; third, be open and inclusive, actively participate in internal and external practices, and broaden their global perspectives.
Anle, a student representative from Iran, expressed her vision and determination for the new campus life in her speech. She stated that she would cherish this hard-won learning opportunity, learn professional knowledge and experience Chinese culture with an open mind, communicate and learn from students from various countries, and jointly write an unforgettable chapter of studying abroad.
Amidst the melodious and inspiring school song "Soaring Eagles over Muye", Li Guanghui presented school badges to the international students. Finally, all participating teachers and students took a group photo to record this precious moment.
This opening ceremony was solemn and warm, with a compact agenda and substantial content, fully demonstrating Xinxiang University's great emphasis on international education and humanistic care. The admission of the first batch of international students not only injects new vitality and a multicultural atmosphere into the campus but also marks a solid step forward in the university's process of opening up education.
